They find a time capsule carrying with it the knowledge of the past, technology that allows them to rise above their meager existence. Okay - this kills me to write this - I have tried and tried to get through the first Book (Activate) .... and I am struggling .... I wondered if it was only me, so I looked online ... and read other reviews for this book. Some didn't like it but persevered and found the whole set to be awesome.
I have tried and tried ... but I don't think that I have totally grasped what is happening truly ... and I am bored with trying to enjoy it ..... I can honestly say that I have never not finished a book before, and it breaks my heart .... to say ... I am going to walk away and not finish it.
I may come back to it ,,, at a later date ... but for now .... no, I just can't. I won't give it a rating ... that wouldn't be fair ....
